Shame on Barbara Walters, televisions first lady, commentator on 20/20 and the producer of “The View“, her show on national television. She is a role model to many women and an inspiration to women facing their golden age. Barbara finally wakes up and realizes that she really is not the prima donna, all prim and proper image that she usually portrays. The male species in her world do not know she is alive and it is usually all about the younger women sitting around her at the conference table. This now becomes a mid-life crisis to recapture her youthfulness. Barbara gets up and bares her soul in her new book “Auditions” to prove to herself that she was hot at one time in her life, only not to realize that her confessions are years to late and she just exchanged at her age; class, poise, sophistication, respect, admiration and dignity for a younger woman’s sexual version of; If it’s hot, flaunt it, and if it’s not bury it. A choice was made and hopefully Barbara Walters is not lacking for attention.
