For the first time after secretly wedding hip hop rapper Jay-Z, and still refusing to admit or confirm, her marriage to this man aka Shawn Carter, Beyonce Knowles performed at New York Fashion Rocks at Radio City Music Hall. Beyonce was seen wearing a 5 million dollar 18 carat flawless diamond wedding ring, as she sang Etta James hit song “At Last”. Well for Beyonce it has been a very long 6 years in getting to the altar, especially after many unsmiling photo opps with Jay-Z, both giving a constant public impression of not being in a relationship together, and the many disappointing times Beyonce was expecting to receive a ring from Jay-Z, and mama Knowles grumbling to Katie Couric that it was time for her to have grandchildren.  Then there were rumours of a pregnancy, touched up L’Oreal photo’s and Beyonce looking very puffed up in her face and neckline.

Is it at last, because Beyonce signed a prenuptial agreement stating: The longer she stayed married to her husband Jay-Z, the bigger her payout would be, should she divorce him. Or is Beyonce relieved that she will receive $10 million dollars, if her marriage ends after the first 2 years, an additional 1 million dollars for each year she stays married to Jay-Z, up to 15 years. Lets not forget the $5 million dollar payout for each child she produces with her husband, to keep the marriage strong. Whatever it takes to make Beyonce happy cost her husband Jay-Z a cool $5 million dollars. Does this $5 million dollar ring, ring a bell? Beyonce announced she is planning to retire from entertaining and is working on her last album, which includes the singles “If I were a boy” and “Beautiful Nightmare“. Is this the part of the fairy tale where the couple will disappear and live happily ever after, or is this just the beginning of a beautiful nightmare.
