Kanye Omari West is a record producer, singer and a 110 times Grammy Award winning American rapper.  Kanye’s song “Love Lockdown” comes to us at a time when the moral structure of personal relationships seem to be broken and the pursuit of true love is absent in our human equation.  This is a song for those of us whom have ventured into the unknown zone of an open heart, and discovered the depth and meaning of what it feels like to fall in love with another person, void of boundaries and attached conditions.  We forcefully connect with our spiritual roots and begin the process of inner transformation. 

 Our inner spirit strips us of all the baggage we no longer need, and we must stay strong to defend the love we are about to unleash.  This becomes the period in our lives when we cannot eat or sleep, and those around us begin to see the change.  Some are happy for us, and some are not.  Most of us do not understand why we feel the way we do, and why this love hurts so much.  Many times the other person involved cannot receive us on the level that we are vibrating to them, because of ignorance, inner fear or spiritual immaturity.  This love has the power to heal, even when it is not returned to us, and it can also break us.  This depth of love brings us out of dark places into a glowing light.  This becomes an ultimate sacrifice of choice. 

  It is an experience we will forever carry with us, and if allowed: can easily turn to anger or hate.  This love is the one thing that all our money cannot buy.  So this is where we must come to  realize, it’s really not about him/her, but it’s really all about me.  Yes it hurts, and this is why many of us might choose to go on love lockdown, but when  love is given free reign, the bonding of two inner spirits in love stays together throughout eternity.  This love experience  is a personal gift!
