More could not be said about First Lady Michelle Obama’s stunning appearance on the day that her husband President-elect Barack Obama, now President of the United States of America, was sworn in. Michelle wore a “maize-colored” dress and coat designed by Isabel Toledo, a Cuban-American designer in New York City, and green gloves by J.Crew. Michelle’s inaugural ballgown was a hit in the way she carried it off and the elegance that Michelle portrayed was simply breathless. The inaugural ballgown was designed by Jason Wu, an up and coming designer, that is not yet very well known. And for those who could capture the first impression of the inaugural ballgown: This ballgown depicted an aura of an African Heritage clearly seen by the single broad strap on the dress. We are pleased and proud that First Lady Michelle Obama’s choices in dress for her inaugural day appearance was captivating to all who understands her sense of fashion.
President-elect Barack Hussein Obama is being sworn in by Chief Justice John Roberts Jr. as the 44th President of the United States of America. A day that will go down in history to be remembered by all Americans as a turning point in their lives and a day that “Change” came to America. It is not only the promises of hope and change that stirred up a nation and our partners around the world, but the courage to make a different choice in a leader, the courage to change the face of America, and the courage to release the helm of our nation to a highly intelligent man that once could not drink freely from any water fountain of his choice here in the United States of America. We have earned the respect from all nations by our actions and choice in daring to break a racial barrier here in America, that we unsuspectingly never realized has kept us in a global bondage.
