Chris Brown and Rihanna  were no shows at the 51st annual Grammy Award performances where they were both  scheduled to perform. Both had canceled their performances at the Grammy Awards, due to an alleged physical attack by 19 year old recording artist Chris Brown on 20 year old Def Jam artist and girlfriend Rihanna, which was confirmed by Los Angelos Times and E! Entertainment News.

Chris Brown turned himself in to police, but was not charged with battery, even though sources revealed Rihanna was badly beaten and had suffered visible bruises on her face. The physical confrontation between both celebrities was considered to be a domestic violence situation. Rihanna was left on the side of the road in the car as Chris fled on foot.  After making the 911 call Rihanna was found in Chris Brown’s rented Lamborgini in a hysterical condition. She identified Chris Brown as her attacker, causing Chris to be booked by police on suspicion of making criminal threats toward Rihanna. The fight took place in the fancy and quiet Hancock Park neighbourhood shortly after midnight at 12:30 am. 

Rihanna was taken to the emergency room at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for treatment. Chris Brown posted $50,000 bail and is under investigation. This domestic violence situation has caused Wrigley Doublemint Gum ad campaign to issue a statement to TMZ, explaining that all Chris Brown current Doublemint Gum advertisements with them were suspended until the matter is resolved.  

Chris Brown is the boy who sings the love songs and captures every ones heart. He is a young gifted R&B/Hip Hop singer whom has shown his immaturity and lack of respect in dealing with his personal  relationship.
